On July 26, 2012 a like-minded agency received the following information and authorized it for disclosure to other agencies:
“We received word from our folks in Dushanbe, Tajikistan that the military has ordered all expats to be out of Khorog by 1000 Friday morning 27 July 2012. There was going to be a convoy of expats coming out of Khorog last night, but the local drivers advised that it would be better not to travel after dark. A convoy has just left the Serena Hotel headed for the capital. This trip by road is typically long and difficult, so prayers would be appreciated.
There is concern about what may happen in Khorog once all the expats are gone.”
