CCI will hold a Field Security Seminar (FSS) on February 3-5, 2020 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The exact location will be communicated upon registration. The course will begin at 8:30 AM on Monday, February 3 and end at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 5 (2.5 days).
The FSS is a field-oriented training for faith-based, international workers operating in higher risk environments. Participants will learn about managing surveillance, maintaining situational and environmental awareness, and surviving violent encounters and coordinated attacks. In addition, participants will learn to manage interrogations, survive hostage events, and learn the essentials of vehicle security (convoys, checkpoints, ambushes). A discussion of the terrorism threat to faith-based workers is included.
The FSS is presented by experienced global security professionals that are mature believers. The seminar begins with and is infused with a theology of risk.
The price for the FSS is $495 (USD) per participant. Participants may take a $35 discount if they also register for CCI’s Crisis Management Seminar at the same location on February 5-7, 2020.
Housing and Meals
Lunch will be provided all three days and refreshments will be available. Housing and other meals are participants’ responsibility. Both housing and meal options will be available at the training site (information to be communicated upon payment).
Course Information
The seminar starts at 8:30 AM on February 3 and ends at 12:00 noon on February 5 (a total of 2.5 days). The seminar incorporates classroom teaching, table-top discussion, as well as some practical exercises. Some walking may be required. The course will be presented in English.
Transportation
Travel to and from the airport is the responsibility of each participant.

This FSS has limited seating. If registrations exceed seating capacity, the additional participants will be placed on a waiting list.
